At Jumpin’ Hounds Dog Training, we believe great training starts with trust, communication, and understanding — not fear or force. We’re a relationship-focused dog training and sitting program dedicated to helping dogs and their humans build a strong, healthy bond that lasts a lifetime. Dog trainer, Jared, began his career working hands-on with animals as a veterinary assistant, where he discovered his passion for behavior, learning, and helping pets thrive. He went on to complete formal dog training education through Penn Foster and gained real-world experience training dogs at Petco before launching his own training business. Today, Jumpin Hounds focuses on:

No competition experience required. Dogs must have basic obedience and be comfortable working around other dogs.

Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old and adult dogs need to have received age-appropriate vaccinations per veterinary guidelines (DHPP in progress). Proof required prior to class enrollment.

Meet Our Founder
I’m Jared Pryor, the founder and lead trainer at Jumpin’ Hounds!
I began my career in animal care as a veterinary assistant/technician, where I worked for over 4 years helping pets stay healthy and supported. I then transitioned into professional dog training at Petco, where I designed lesson plans, taught both group and private sessions, and helped dozens of pet parents build stronger connections with their dogs.
